Therapy where your whole self is welcome.
You shouldn't have to explain yourself just to get support.
Finding a therapist who genuinely gets it can feel impossible.
We know how difficult it is to feel safe with a therapist when you have to regularly educate them about your experience or find yourself mentally translating their feedback, so that it actually applies to your life.
Our team is here to hold your identities with care.
We're a queer and trans affirming practice in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
Our therapists show up as real humans with their own complex identities, lived experiences, and the shared belief that just surviving is not enough.
We are genuinely committed to your liberation,
and to the belief that none of us heal alone.
A free 15–20 minute call with our care coordinator. No pressure, no commitment.
How lgbtq+ affirming therapy helps
When you don't have to spend energy managing your therapist's comfort or translating your experience, something shifts. There's more room to actually be yourself.
That's what affirming therapy makes possible. It’s not just a space where your identities are tolerated, but one where they're genuinely understood and celebrated as part of who you are.
Here your relationships, your community, your way of loving and being loved are held with curiosity and care, not treated as complications to work around.
We believe that when queer and trans folks feel truly seen, something big opens up. The parts of yourself you've kept smaller, the relationships you've wanted to show up more fully in, the life you've been building toward? There's more access to all of it; and all of you.
Therapy here isn't about helping you cope with who you are.
It's about helping you live more fully and more authentically as yourself, in the relationships and communities that matter to you.

YOU DESERVE CARE THAT ACTUALLY FITS
We know what it's like to walk into a therapy space and feel like you have to shrink, explain, or perform. That's not what we're here for.
We work with:
LGBTQIA2S+ folks navigating identity, coming out, and self-discovery
Trans and non-binary people seeking affirming care without having to justify their existence
Queer people unlearning shame and reconnecting with pride and self-trust
BIPOC and queer folks holding the weight of multiple marginalized identities
People navigating chosen family, community grief, and collective trauma
Queer folks in relationships — including CNM, polyamorous, and expansive structures
Those who are used to holding space for everyone else and are ready for a space of their own
There is nothing wrong with you. Your distress makes sense given what you're navigating in a world that doesn't treat everyone with the same care or dignity.
What makes therapy here different
We understand your experience in context.
For many queer, trans, and nonbinary folks, moving through a world that questions your safety, your legitimacy, or your right to exist as you are can quietly shape how you see yourself. You may find yourself bracing for harm, doubting your instincts, or wondering whether you're asking for too much when you're not.
This kind of constant vigilance can affect how you relate to yourself and others. Staying on alert, second-guessing your needs, or feeling worn down in ways that are hard to explain aren't character flaws. They're adaptive responses to systemic harm and to messages many people absorb simply by moving through everyday life.
There is nothing wrong with you. When what you're carrying is understood in context, it becomes easier to step out of self-blame and reconnect with yourself more fully.
HOW WE WORK
We're a relational practice. We believe healing happens in connection, not in isolation.
Our therapists show up authentically. You'll get to know who we are.
No clinical robots, no blank-slate neutrality. Just real humans, genuinely committed to your wellbeing and your liberation.
Sessions here often include honesty, depth, sometimes humor, and always space for the full complexity of who you are. We work collaboratively, paying attention to power and safety, and centering your experience rather than positioning the therapist as an expert on your life.
We take an explicit stance against racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and all forms of oppression. We're not a politically neutral practice.
We are based in Highland Park in Northeast Los Angeles — a neighborhood we love and are deeply rooted in.
